CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Personnel of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Friday launched two major entrapment operation that led to the arrest of “high-value”drug suspects in Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija, and one of Bataan’s most wanted person in Abucay town.
Members of the Zaragoza police Drug Enforcement Unit carried out a buy-bust in Bgy. Concepcion West, Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija, resulting in the arrest of alias “Daryl”, 22, a van driver, and alias “Gail,” 32, a caregiver.
Seized from the two suspects were 12 heat-sealed plastic sachets and one knot-tied plastic bag containing an estimated 110 grams of shabu valued at P748,000, the marked money and a cellphone.
In Bataan, a joint police operation led to the capture of top 5 most wanted in the province identified only as “Danilo,” 49, of National Road, Bgy. Capitangan, Abucay municipality.
Operatives from the Intelligence Section of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Bataan Provincial Field Unit (PFU) conducted the operation at Maedylaines Giftshop in Bgy. Capitangan, Abucay.
“Danilo” was arrested based on a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 92, Balanga City, Bataan, for violation of Republic Act 11199 or the Social Security Act of 2018 for failing to remit the mandatory contributions of their employees to the Social Security System (SSS) and other government-mandated benefits.
PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo lauded the operatives for their unwavering commitment stating: “Every criminal taken off the streets is a step toward a safer community. These operations are a testament to our firm resolve—crime has no refuge in Central Luzon. We will not rest, and we urge the public to be our allies in this fight. Together, we build a region where lawlessness has no place.”
Fajardo said the successful operations reinforce PNP-PRO3’s steadfast commitment to law enforcement, crime prevention, and public safety.
