WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN REFRIGERATOR IN RIZAL APARTMENT

A 30-YEAR-OLD woman on Wednesday was found dead and stuffed in a refrigerator in Bgy. San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal.

The owner of the apartment discovered the victim’s body.

The apartment owner told probers that on Sept. 9, the victim was  accompanied by a man who introduced himself as her live-in partner and agreed to rent the unit.

On Sept. 10, the owner of the apartment tried to reach the victim to have her sign a contract but received no response.

Around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, he reported to the police the foul smell coming from the apartment unit.

Responding lawmen entered the unit and found the victim dead inside the refrigerator.

An investigation showed the woman was strangled and then her body forced inside the refrigerator.

Probers interviewed possible witnesses and reviewed CCTV footage for possible identification and arrest of the suspect.
