A 29-YEAR-OLD woman on Friday night fell victim to “basag-kotse gang” in Sto. Tomas, Pampanga.
Pampanga police director Col. Jay Dimaandal reported to Police Regional Office (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo that the victim’s name was Irene, of Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Irene told probers that she parked her black Hyundai car with plate number CIM86 in front of Rhanema’s building in Bgy. San Matias, Sto. Tomas around 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
When she returned to her car, a concerned citizen informed her that the vehicle’s window was broken. Upon checking, the victim discovered that her two bags containing P48,000 cash were missing.
A CCTV footage showed that two men broke the right front window of her car, took the bags then fled on a motorcycle.
