PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Wednesday ordered all concerned government agencies to speed up the processing of benefits for members of uniformed services killed in action.
The President issued the order during the awarding of certificates from the National Housing Authority (NHA) and financial assistance to the families of fallen soldiers and members of the Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit (CAFGU). The event also marked the Araw ng Kagitingan commemoration in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.
During the event, the President noted the complaints of some beneficiaries that the process was taking too long and complicated.
However, the President said the government will improve the process in order for the family members to receive their benefits immediately.
