TWO Grade 8 students on Friday were stabbed dead by their schoolmates in Las Piñas City.
Police identified the victims as Enzo and Joshua, both 15 years old.
The victims, both Grade 8 students at Aguilar High School, were walking on their way home from school when they were attacked at 7 p.m. on Balikatan St. in Bgy. CAA, Las Piñas City.
Enzo suffered a stab wound in the neck and died while undergoing treatment at the Las Piñas Doctors Hospital.
Joshua was declared dead on arrival at the Las Piñas General Hospital.
An investigation showed that prior to the killing, one of the victims and a Grade 9 student engaged in an argument inside the school comfort room.
One of the victims reportedly played with the lights in the comfort room by turning them off and on, which earned the ire of the Grade 9 student.
A quarrel ensued.
The victims were on their way home when attacked by the Grade 9 student and two others — a Grade 7 student and a Grade 10 student.
The young suspects were surrendered by their families to the police and later turned over to Bahay Pag-asa in Las Piñas City.
