FEMALE COLLEGE STUDENT FOUND DEAD INSIDE SEPTIC TANK IN ILOCOS SUR

A FIRST year college student on Monday was found dead inside a septic tank in an ongoing house construction site in Bgy. Tinaan, Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur.

Police said the victim was a resident of the village and a student at the University of the Ilocos Philippines.

Prior to the gruesome find, the teenager had drinks with her friends the previous night.

A construction worker who went to clean area discovered the body of the victim.

The worker said he passed by the open septic tank and was surprised to see an unconscious woman inside. He immediately called the police.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the victim’s death.
