POLICE are hunting down an armed man who shot on Friday a driver of a van in front of a convenience store in Angeles City, Pampanga.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., Angeles City police acting director Col. Joselito Villarosa Jr. ,said the names of the victim and the suspect are being verified.
Initial probe showed the victim was in front of O-Save convenience store in Bgy. Capaya, Angeles City when the suspect, who was wearing a black bonnet, long-sleeve shirt, maong pants, and slippers, suddenly arrived on a black motorcycle.
For unknown reason, the suspect shot the victim then fled.
The Angeles City police immediately responded after being informed of the shooting incident.
Responding cops found at the crime scene three fired bullets.
It was later verified that the victim was brought to Mount Carmel Hospital for treatment.
Police requested a flash alarm while reviewing the CCTV footage in the area for possible apprehension of the suspect.
