A SECURITY guard on Sunday fell prey to “Gapos Gang” in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., the Nueva Ecija police identified the victim as Oliver Naguit, 27, a resident of Bgy. Vega in Bongabon.
A tanod of Bgy. Curva informed the police about the burglary.
The victim told police that three men wearing black jackets, shorts and face masks suddenly appeared, pointed a gun at him then wrapped his feet, arms, and head with duct tape.
The suspects then took the security guard’s issued shotgun and fled towards a nearby farm field.
Responding lawmen found in the area a bag containing assorted construction tools and two steel bars wrapped in a sack.
The Bongabon police are conducting a follow-up operation to arrest the suspects.
