CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Police on Tuesday arrested a newly identified “high-value individual” (HVI) and seized P1.63 million worth of shabu in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Balanga City, Bataan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., the Bataan police said the buy-bust conducted on Roman Super Highway in Bgy. Tuyo was carried out by members of the Balanga City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU).
Seized were 240 grams of suspected shabu, two more sachets of the same substance, a mobile phone, and the buy-bust money.
Peñones commended his men for the successful operation.
“This accomplishment sends a clear message that PRO3 remains relentless in pursuing those who destroy lives and communities through illegal drugs. We will not stop until Central Luzon becomes a safer and drug-free region,” the official said.
