CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Two most wanted persons in Central Luzon were arrested by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Regional Field Unit 3 (CIDG RFU3) in separate manhunt operations in Tarlac and Pampanga.
CIDG RFU3 chief Col. Grant Gollod said the arrests were part of their “Oplan Pagtugis” drive.
The first operation was carried out in Bgy. Santa Maria, Concepcion, Tarlac.
Arrested was alias “Dawang,” 39, of Bgy. Santa Maria.
The suspect is ranked as no. 3 in the most wanted list of the PRO3.
Alias “Dawang” was apprehended by a composite team led by CIDG Tarlac Provincial Field Unit (PFU) headed by Maj. Arvin Hosmillo, with the support from PIT-Tarlac, Regional Intelligence Unit 3 (RIU3), and the Concepcion police.
Authorities served the suspect a warrant for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 issued by the Third Judicial Region, Branch 113 in Concepcion, Tarlac.
In a separate operation, Gollod said CIDG RFU3 operatives arrested another most wanted person in Macapagal Village, Bgy. Sapangbato, Angeles City, Pampanga.
The suspect was identified as alias “Licup,” 36, and listed as the no. 4 most wanted person at the Angeles City Police Office (ACPO).
Alias “Licup” was arrested by joint elements of the CIDG Angeles City Field Unit in coordination with the ACPO Police Station 5.
The suspect was served a warrant for two counts of theft issued by the Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) of Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Gollod reaffirmed the CIDG RFU3’s commitment to relentlessly pursue wanted persons and strengthen public safety through intensified manhunt operations in coordination with local police units and intelligence offices across Central Luzon.
