LUBAO, Pampanga – Members of the ‘akyat-bahay’ gang on Tuesday attacked the house of a young businessman in this town and fled with at least half a million pesos loot.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., Pampanga police director Col. Eugene M. Marcelo said robbed was the house of 27-year-old trader Ivan Javier in Bgy. Don Ignacio Dimson.
Initial investigation showed that at least five men entered the residence of the Javiers thru the sliding window.
Once inside, the suspects locked Ivan, his wife Jenny Rose Apple Lenon-Javier; 28; and 57-year-old Ma. Elisa Lenon in the bedroom before ransacking the house.
The robbers fled with the victims’ cash and jewelry worth around P500,000.
Police are conducting manhunt operations to arrest the suspects.
