CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Two police officers from Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Class “Masaligan” 2011 on Monday officially assumed the rank of Police Lieutenant Colonel during the donning of ranks ceremony and oathtaking led by Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez.
Held at the PRO3 Multi-Purpose Hall in Camp Olivas, the ceremony recognized the promotion of Lt. Col. Santi Frey Lorenzo and Lt. Col. Karl Marlo Sanchez, marking another milestone in their respective careers in the Philippine National Police.
Lorenzo currently serves as Deputy Force Commander of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 while Sanchez heads the Complaint Referral Monitoring Center (CRMC)/Salaam under the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD) of PRO3.
Mendez administered the oath of office and personally led the donning of ranks for the newly-promoted officers in the presence of members of the Command Group, fellow police personnel, colleagues, and family members.
In his message, the PRO3 chief congratulated the officers and emphasized that their promotion was a recognition of their dedication and faithful service to the organization.
The official reminded the officers that advancing in rank comes with greater responsibilities and expectations, particularly in upholding professionalism, integrity, and excellence in public service.
The promotion of Lorenzo and Sanchez reflects the PNP’s confidence in their leadership capabilities and recognizes their years of dedicated service in law enforcement.
The PRO3 director said the achievement serves as an inspiration to other police personnel striving for professional growth and excellence in carrying out their duties in service of the public.
