DIESEL PRICES TO DROP BY OVER  P7 PER LITER

THE Department of Energy (DOE) on Monday announced a rollback in fuel prices.

According to the DOE,  diesel prices will drop by P7.57 per liter,  gasoline by at least P0.24 per liter, and kerosene by P5.85 per liter.

The DOE said the rollback will take effect Tuesday (Sept. 29).

In separate advisories, Jetti Petroleum and Petron Corporation said diesel prices will be rolled back by P7.60 per liter and gasoline prices by P0.30 per liter.

On the other hand, Shell Pilipinas Corp. said it will slash gasoline prices by P0.30 per liter, diesel prices by P7.60 per liter, and kerosene prices by P5.90 per liter.

With the new development, pump prices in Metro Manila and nearby areas  are now P111 per liter for gasoline, P106 per liter for diesel, and P141 per liter for kerosene.

“These changes are based on movements in the global oil market amid ongoing developments in the Middle East that are affecting global supply and prices,” the DoE said in an advisory.
