ANGELES CITY – Police on Friday arrested three alleged “high-value individuals” (HVIs) and seized 69 sachets of suspected liquid marijuana cartridges worth at least P241,500 in a buy-bust operation in this city.
Arrested were alias “Aldo,” 27; alias “Ric,” 19; and alias “Chil,” 18 said a report by Angeles City police director Col. Robert Domingo to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez.
Intelligence and drug enforcement operatives of the Police Station 4 led by station commander Maj. Ronan James C. Eblahan, in coordination with the Police Regional Office 3, Regional Intelligence Division, Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 3, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3 conducted the buy-bust in Bgy. Balibago.
Police said the operation was launched in coordination with the PDEA.
Seized from the tsuspects were 69 heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected liquid marijuana cartridges worth around P241,500 and the marked and boodle money.
The suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. According to Domingo.
