A FIRE on Tuesday night left five members of a family dead in Daraga, Albay.
Police identified the victims as Moncris Neptuno, his wife Rosalie and their three children, of Bgy. Kilicao, Daraga town.
The victims were trapped inside their burning house.
The 14-old-son of the couple was in his grandma’s home when the fire struck at 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
An investigation is ongoing on what started the blaze and the cost of fire damage.
3-YEAR-OLD BOY TRAPPED IN BURNING HOME
Meanwhile, a 3-year-old boy also on Tuesday was roasted to death after being trapped in their burning house in Nagcarlan, Laguna.
Police said the child was left inside the house when the fire started around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
The fire lasted for 30 minutes.
The victim’s relatives told probers that they ran for their lives and thought the child was able to escape the raging blaze only to find out he was left inside the burning house.
They tried to save the kid but was too late as fire almost engulfed the entire house.
Authorities are conducting an investigation on what caused the fire.
