A HARDWARE store owner on Wednesday was robbed and shot in Tarlac.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Tarlac police identified the victim as Allan Jacob, owner of ACJ Hardware located in Bgy. San Vicente, Concepcion, Tarlac.
An investigation showed the hardware caretaker heard three gun shots and when he checked, he saw three armed men.
The caretaker said the three men poked a gun at him and ordered him to open the store.
After divesting the store of all the sales, the suspects fled using the victim’s Toyota Hilux (CAV 543).
The caretaker then saw the victim lying on the ground with three gunshot wounds and rushed him to the Concepcion District Hospital, where the store owner is undergoing medical treatment.
The Tarlac police immediately activated “Oplan Kandado” to arrest the suspects.
