CDC HOLDS PEST CONTROL ORIENTATION AT CLARK FREEPORT

CLARK FREEPORT — The Clark Development Corporation -Health and Sanitation Division (CDC-HSD), in partnership with Happy Home Pest Control Company, recently conducted a Pest Control Management Orientation to address pest proliferation and elevate public health standards.

The event attended by 50 representatives from 30 locator companies and held at the HSD Training Hall, introduced innovative pest control measures to safeguard residents, tourists, and businesses in the Freeport.

Dr. Maria Clemencita D. Dobles, manager of CDC-HSD, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in maintaining cleanliness and wellness standards in the Metro Clark area.

“Pest control is one of our main objectives, and it is a significant part of our mission to prevent diseases, particularly infectious ones. We also want to equip our locators with pest control strategies, especially within their facilities,” she said.

The orientation covered a variety of topics, including pest control management, pest control measures and services, the introduction of new technology, and the demonstration of pest control services and equipment.

Also highlighted were topics about new technology for mosquito eradication, and complementing existing measures against rats, flies, and cockroaches.

The orientation provided a platform for participants to address concerns and queries, ranging from equipment operation to cost considerations and protocols for managing stray cats.
