OPERATIVES of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3 smashed a makeshift drug den in an anti-illegal drugs operation in Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
Four were arrested, including the drug den operator, in the operation at Mawaque Resettlement, Sapang Biabas.
The PDEA 3 identified the arrested suspects as Oliver Ventura alias “Berung/Berong”, 43; Mark Anthony Ventura alias “Makmak,” 38; Rovilma Manlapaz alias “Vilma,” 46; and Rosetth Dimarucut alias “Setset,” 28, all residents of Bgy. Mawaque Resettlement, Sapang Biabas, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
The PDEA targeted drug den maintainer Ventura, who was under surveillance for three weeks, following reports from a confidential informant.
A total of eight plastic sachets containing more or less 15 grams of shabu worth P103,500, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money were recovered in the raid jointly conducted by the PDEA Aurora and Pampanga Provincial Offices.
All suspects will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
