A MAN on Monday was shot dead by an armed suspect riding a car in Cabanatuan City.
Slain was Lamberto Hernandez, 45, of Purok 1, Bgy. San Isidro, Cabanatuan City.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Cabanatuan police said the still unidentified suspect arrived in a black Sedan vehicle and without any provocation repeatedly shot Hernandez before fleeing towards the direction of Nueva Ecija-Aurora Road.
The victim was rushed to the PJGMRMC but was declared dead upon arrival due to severe gunshot wounds.
The Cabanatuan police immediately activated “Oplan: Bakod” to track down and identify the suspect.
