A 66-YEAR-OLD Australian national on Saturday was found dead inside his room in Angeles City.
Angeles City police director Col. Amado Mendoza Jr. identified the victim as Mark Spencer, an Australian national residing in one of the rooms at Wild Orchid Resort, A. Santos St., Bgy. Balibago, Angeles City.
On Friday night, Spencer was already not in a good condition when checked by his private physician, Dr. Froilan Canlas.
Around 5 a.m. Saturday, a staff member at the resort checked on Spencer and found him unresponsive. The employee immediately called the police.
Police theorized the foreigner died of heart attack. He was also suffering from cancer, diabetes and rheumatic heart disease based on the kind of drugs found in his room.
