THE alleged doppelganger of former Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo on Friday went to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) office in Quezon City.
The woman, identified as Catherine, arrived past 2 p.m. in the office of Lito Magno, NBI assistant director for investigation service.
She was wearing a light green shirt, face mask, jeans, glasses, and had black hair up to her lower back when she arrived at the office of Magno.
Catherine, who is confirmed as one of Guo’s staff members, is accused of deliberately misleading law enforcement authorities during their search for the embattled mayor.
She was reportedly the one who stood in for Guo when she filed her notarized counter-affidavits.
Earlier, the NBI said it was searching for Guo’s supposed decoy used to confuse authorities.
The former Bamban mayor fled the country in July and was arrested earlier this September in Jakarta, Indonesia.
