FORMER Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Oscar Albayalde gave away wheelchairs to senior citizens in Angeles City, Pampanga.
The ex-member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Sinagtala Class of 1986 has distributed more than a hundred wheelchairs to the elderly in the 33 barangays in the city.
Last Wednesday, Albayalde personally delivered the wheelchair to an elderly woman in Bgy. Malabanias in Angeles City.
Albayalde, who filed his certificate of candidacy for mayor of Angeles, is set to challenge the Lazatin political dynasty that held office in the city.
The decorated police officer vowed to address Angeles City’s urgent issues, including better housing, improved health services, and enhanced educational opportunities, while emphasizing a commitment to transparency and accountability in governance.
