POLICE arrested a 14-year-old boy accused of killing a 7-year-old child in Iligan City.
The young suspects told police that a pastor whom he called “Alcom” ordered him to kill the kid.
The 7-year-old victim was found dead by the Iligan police on December 12.
Iligan Police spokesperson Major Zandrex Panolong told a television interview that the minor issued a statement pointing to the pastor as the one who ordered the killing.
“Ang kanyang revelation is binagsakan daw niya ng bato ang ulo ng biktima pero nakita ko na may sugat na parang resulta ng matalas na bagay. Ang expert from the forensic unit ang makaka-determine sa cause of death,” the official said.
An investigation is underway to confirm the motive for the crime.
Police are pursuing the alleged pastor while the young suspect was placed in the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development in Iligan City.
