A SECURITY guard on Sunday was arrested for allegedly firing shots and attacking two persons at a demolished area in Sitio Balubad, Purok 1, Bgy. Anunas, Angeles City, Pampanga.
Angeles Police director Col. Amado Mendoza reported to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. that the victims were Amanda Tupil, 51, a teacher, and Enrico Tupil, 54, both residents of Sitio Balubad, Bgy. Anunas, Angeles City.
The victims told police that suspect Arnel Yurong, 40, OIC supervisor of Clark Hill Security Agency, threatened and attacked them.
They said that the suspect also fired two shots while they were at their demolished house in Sitio Balubad.
Responding policemen recovered two empty shells, four live ammunition for cal. .9mm pistol, and a cal..9mm pistol inside the temporary barracks of the suspect.
Police were later told that the suspect was rushed to the Jose Lingad Memorial General Hospital for medical treatment, after the suspect allegedly sustained self-inflicted gunshot wound on his right foot.
The suspect was charged with illegal discharge of firearm, grave threat and physical injury. He is still at the hospital while being guarded by the Angeles City police.
