TWO men on a motorcycle on Friday shot dead a farmer in front of his wife in Tarlac.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Tarlac police identified the victim as Dante Quita, 57, a resident of Bgy. Maniniog, Mayantoc, Tarlac.
The victim and his wife were on a motorcycle going to their farm some 200 meters away from their house.
When they arrived at the farm, two men on a motorcycle suddenly appeared and shot Quita in the head and body.
The victim was rushed to Gilberto Teodoro Memorial Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
The Mayantoc police immediately launched “Oplan Kandado for possible apprehension of the suspects.
