PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured the Filipino people on Friday to exhaust all legal remedies to bring ousted Negros Oriental 3rd district congressman and designated terrorist Arnolfo “Arnie” Teves Jr. back to the Philippines after his arrest in Dili, East Timor.

“I assure the Filipino people that we will spare no effort in ensuring that justice will prevail in this case.”
President Marcos made the statement after the Department of Justice (DOJ) confirmed in a Facebook post that Teves was arrested at the Top Golf Driving Range and Bar at around 4 p.m. on Thursday.
The chief executive commended the collaborative efforts of the Philippine law enforcement agencies and its foreign counterparts, resulting in the successful arrest of Teves as he extended his heartfelt gratitude to all those involved in the operation.
