AN 18-YEAR-OLD female student on Monday night was injured after she was stabbed by one of the robbers at the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman campus in Quezon City.
Investigation showed the victim, a college student, was walking on Valenzuela St., Bgy. UP Campus when three men approached her around 8 p.m. on Monday.
One of the suspects suddenly pointed a knife at her and declared a holdup.
One of the robbers stabbed the victim when she shouted for help.
The robbers fled with the victim’s bag containing a cellphone, wallet and other personal belongings worth P20,000.
Concerned citizens rushed the victim to the hospital for treatment.

In a post at their social media page, the UP Diliman confirmed the incident that happened at the UP Diliman National Science Complex.
“Everyone is reminded to stay vigilant and report anything suspicious to the authorities,” said the UPD urgent advisory.
“The UPD administration will continue deploying more security personnel in different areas of the campus. In case of emergency or if assistance is needed, please contact the UPD Public Safety and Security Office at 0917-597-1984 or the UPD Police at 8981-8500 local 113,” the urgent advisory added.
The school authorities said the Quezon City Police District has taken over the case.
