LAND Transportation Office (LTO) chief Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza II on Wednesday led the inauguration of their district office in General Trias City, Cavite.
The General Trias LTO district office is located on Bypass Road in Bgy. San Juan II, General Trias City.
Aside from Mendoza, present in the inauguration and blessing of the newly-built two-storey LTO building were LTO executive director Greg Pua Jr., LTO regional director for Region 4A Col. Elmer Decena, Mrs. Anne Ferrer, wife of Congressman Antonio Ferrer of the 6th district of Cavite, and General Trias City Mayor Luis “Jon Jon” Ferrer IV.

The LT0-General Trias is the seventh district office of the agency in the province after Bacoor, Dasmariñas, Imus, Cavite City, Carmona and Tagaytay City.
Then Cavite 6th district representative and now Mayor Ferrer filed House Bill 7070 during the 18th Congress that aims to establish a Land Transportation Office (LTO) District Office in General Trias City.
The move aims to serve the residents efficiently and help decongest the workload of district offices in the province.
Ferrer said the establishment of an LTO district office in General Trias will not only facilitate the registration and licensing applications but will also save efforts and expenses of applicants coming from the towns of Tanza, Rosario, Noveleta and Trece Martires City.
