A LEADER of a homeowners association in Tarlac was arrested by the police after a raid in his home yielded guns and bullets.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, the Tarlac police said arrested was alias “Atong,” 59, of Bgy. Dela Paz, Tarlac City.
Joint operatives led by the Provincial Intelligence Unit – Tarlac, the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company Tarlac, and the Tarlac City police, implemented a search warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 111, Tarlac City, for violation of RA 10591or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunitions Regulation Act.
Seized were two cal. .38 revolvers, a cal. . 45 gun, one magazine for cal. .45, six live bullets for cal. .45, two live bullets for cal. .38, and a gun rifle.
The suspect and the seized items are in the custody of the Provincial Intelligence Unit office.
