MALACAÑANG on Monday appealed to overseas Filipino voters to fulfill their patriotic duty by voting wisely and with integrity.
Presidential Communications Undersecretary and Palace Press officer Claire Castro made the call as overseas online voting for the 2025 midterm election began on April 13.
Bumoto po mula sa puso,” Castro said in a Malacañang briefing on Monday.
Castro also reminded overseas Filipino voters to not be swayed by financial incentives, but rather choose leaders who are patriotic, reliable, and committed to serve the country with integrity.
Voters should choose leaders who will ensure the country’s sovereignty will not be compromised, she said.
Castro also hoped for a smooth and efficient online voting implementation.
Overseas voting started on Sunday, April 13, and will run until May 12 at 7 p.m..
