HOUSE of Representatives’ leaders on Friday conducted its first post-election meeting after the 2025 midterm elections to ensure stability and continuity for the 20th Congress.
The meeting, which was held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City, focused on legislative priorities aligned with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr.’s Bagong Pilipinas agenda, ensuring continuity in the present House leadership and administrative operations.
Present in the meeting were House Secretary General Reginald “Reggie” S. Velasco; Reps. Yevgeny Vincente “Bambi” B. Emano (Misamis Oriental, Nacionalista Party); Romeo M. Acop (Antipolo City, National Unity Party); Albert S. “Abet” Garcia (Bataan, NUP); and Jose “Bong” J. Teves Jr. (TGP Party-list, Party-List Coalition Foundation Inc.); Alfredo A. “Pido” Garbin Jr. (Ako Bicol Party-list, PCFI); and Reps. Jose C. “Pepito” Alvarez (Palawan, NUP); and Wilfrido Mark M. Enverga (Quezon, Nationalist People’s Coalition).
Joining them were Deputy Speaker Kristine Singson-Meehan (Ilocos Sur, NPC); Rep. Luis Raymund “LRay” F. Villafuerte Jr. (Camarines Sur, NUP president); Ronnie Puno (NUP chairman); Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio “Dong” D.
