TWO car-riding men on Friday were shot by motorcycle-riding armed men during a traffic altercation in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, the Bulacan police identified the victims as Lance Owen Manansala, 27, of Bgy. Caypombo, and John Derick Manansala, 28, of Bgy. Pulong Buhangin, both in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
The victims were traveling on a car on way to Bgy. Caypombo when upon reaching KM 38, they figured in a road argument with the two suspects on a motorcycle.
One of the victims alighted from the vehicle when one of the suspects suddenly pulled out a cal. .45 pistol and fired shots at him and the other victim before fleeing towards Bgy. Caypombo.
Responding members of the Pulong Buhangin Rescue team rushed the Manansalas to Rogaciano Memorial Medical Hospital for immediate medical attention.
The victims were later transferred to Bulacan Medical Hospital for further treatment.
A flash alarm was launched to conduct dragnet operation to arrest the suspects.
