A DRINKING spree on Thursday turned bloody after two men on Thursday were shot dead by their drinking buddies in Norzagaray, Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Penones Jr., the Bulacan police identified the victims as Jaymark Ocampo 30, a merchandiser at Budget King; and Melencio Ocampo Jr., 40, a farmer, both residents of Bgy. Pinagtulayan, Norzagaray town.
Police are hunting down the suspects identified only as alias “Gardo,” 52, a construction worker, and alias “Johnnie,” 18, both of Bgy. Pinagtulayan also in Norzagaray.
The incident happened when the victims and the suspects were having drinks at the house of one of the suspects.
The victims’ relatives said they heard gun shots and upon checking, they saw Jaymark lying on the ground bloodied. They rushed him to Norzagaray Municipal Hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival from bullet wounds.
Other relatives also found the body of Melencio, who likewise sustained gunshot wounds.
The shooting incident was reported to the Norzagaray police and together with the Norzagaray Recue Team confirmed that Melencio was already dead.
The victims’ families refused to conduct an autopsy on the duo, saying they were convinced that the suspects, who were their relatives, did shoot Jaymark and Melencio.
Police are conducting a manhunt operation to arrest the suspects.
