BURGLARS on Friday hit a branch of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Castillejos, Zambales.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., LTO Public Assistance and Complant Desk (PACD) officer Edgardo Batalla informed the Zambales police about the burglary that occurred in their office located in Bgy. San Agustin in Castillejos.
Personnel of the Castillejos police were immediately dispatched to the area.
An initial investigation showed the robbers gained entry by removing the aircon unit in the office of the LTO chief and took at least P70,000 worth of cash and valuables.
Authorities are reviewing the CCTV footage in the area for possible identification and arrest of the suspects.
