CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan — A shooting incident on Friday left a 35-year-old man dead in Bgy. Graceville, this city.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr. by the Bulacan police identified the fatality as Marwin Reyes Aniceto, of Bgy. Gaya-Gaya, also of San Jose del Monte City.
An investigation showed that Reyes and three unidentified men got involved in a gunfight around 5:40 a.m. on Friday at Phase 6E in Bgy. Graceville.
In the exchange of gunfire, one of the suspects and the victim sustained injuries.
However, another suspect returned and shot Reyes in the head, killing him on the spot.
The suspects took the victim’s firearm before fleeing on a black Honda Click motorcycle towards Gov. F. Halili Road.
Authorities are backtracking the CCTV footage in the area to identify and arrest the suspects.
