PANDI, Bulacan — A joint police operation on Thursday resulted in the arrest of four suspected drug suppliers in Region 3 and the National Capital Region (NCR), and the confiscation of some P3.4 million worth of shabu in Bgy. Poblacion, this town.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., the Bulacan police identified the suspects as alias “Mario,” 52; alias “Puno,” 45, alias “Galo,” 42; and alias “Rehi,” 23; all residents of Pandi, Bulacan.
The suspects were believed to be linked to a wider syndicate supplying illegal drugs in Region 3 and the National Capital Region (NCR).
The buy-bust operation conducted on J. Bernardo St. was led by the PNP Drug Enforcement Group-Special Operations Unit NCR (PNP-DEG-SOU NCR) with the supervision of Pandi police chief Lt. Col. Manuel C. de Vera Jr., and in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Confiscated from the suspects were 500 grams of shabu worth P3.4 million, the marked money, a cellphone and an eco bag used to carry the illegal drugs.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the suspects.
