Slain was “Darwin,” a 55-year-old councilman in the town.
A report to Police Regional Office 4A (Calabarzon) director Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas showed that the councilman was inside his sari-sari store when the suspects arrived on a motorcycle and without a word shot him repeatedly at 6:45 p.m. Thursday.
The suspects fled after the shooting.
Relatives and bystanders rushed the victim to San Pablo Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival by an attending physician.
Police are hunting down the suspects and investigating the motive for the killing.
