LUBAO, Pampanga — Anti-drug operatives on Saturday arrested a “high-value” drug target and seized over P136,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Remedios, this town.
Suspect alias “Job,” 40, listed as among the top drug targets in Central Luzon, was arrested in a sting by members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Pampanga Provincial Office.
Seized were four plastic sachets of shabu, a cellphone, and the marked money.
According to PDEA, the suspect is believed to be one of the major sources of illegal drugs in Lubao and neighboring municipalities.
Joint personnel of the PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office, the PDEA Regional Office 3 Special Enforcement Team, and the Lubao police conducted the entrapment.
The arrested suspect is now detained at the agency’s jail facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga and will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
