CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A top regional and provincial most wanted person in Central Luzon on Tuesday was arrested by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in an operation in Quezon City.
According to CIDG Regional Field Unit 3 chief Col. Grant Gollod, nabbed was alias “Marasigan,” 34, a motor mechanic and a resident of Gasan St., Masambong, Quezon City.
“Marasigan” was ranked as Top 2 Most Wanted Person at the regional level of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) and Top 2 at the provincial level of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO).
The arrest was carried out under “Oplan Pagtugis” by joint operatives of the CIDG Bulacan Provincial Field Unit (PFU), which served as the lead unit, in coordination with Masambong Police Station 2 of the Quezon City Police District.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for rape, with no bail recommended.
CIDG officials reiterated their commitment to the relentless pursuit of wanted persons and the strict enforcement of the law to ensure justice for the victims.
