PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Wednesday assured the public that he is in good health, has fully resumed his official duties, and has already presided over key meetings, including the 7th Economic and Development Council (EDC) meeting.
In a video shared on social media, President Marcos said he continues attending official engagements even as his doctors advised to take things slowly.
The video also showed the President playing with the family dog, Oreo.
In fact, nakapag EDC meeting na kami nung Lunes with most of the Cabinet,” the President said in a light conversation with Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro.
“So I’m back in.
“And tomorrow, I have some meetings in the office. And tuloy-tuloy na.”
President Marcos also said he has now been cleared to eat solid food, after a few days of liquid diet to remove the stress in his digestive system.
“So puro sabaw lang ako. Kasi nang nanaginip ako, nakakain ako ng steak,” the President said.
President Marcos said he received the best possible medical care and that is why he is back to his regular work schedule.
“Maraming salamat sa lahat ng tao who have been concerned about my health. At maraming nagpadala ng mga mensahe na gumaling ka na agad,” the President said.
