CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Operatives of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) have hauled to jail in 48 hours all individuals listed in its Top 10 Regional Most Wanted Persons for the month of March.
The operations were completed by March 2.
A report submitted to PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez showed that nine of the arrested were facing rape charges while one is wanted for violation of the Anti-Child Pornography Act.
Police underscored the gravity of the offenses, noting the urgency of serving the warrants.
Mendez said the swift arrests were the result of intensified, intelligence-driven manhunt operations aligned with the Philippine National Police’s focused agenda under PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr..
“This accomplishment reflects the operational discipline and coordination of our units on the ground. Arresting wanted persons is a continuing commitment to public safety,” Mendez said.
He emphasized that cases involving serious crimes such as rape remain a priority, as they directly affect the safety of communities and vulnerable sectors.
According to PRO3, the rapid completion of the Top 10 list was made possible through close coordination among provincial and city police offices and intelligence units across Central Luzon.
The regional police office said it will continue strengthening its warrant service operations through focused deployments, case monitoring, and improved inter-unit collaboration as part of its commitment to deliver fast and reliable public service under its “Pulis Central Luzon Nagdedeliber ng Serbisyong Tapat, Mabilis at Nararamdaman” drive.
