LUPAO, Nueva Ecija — A 25-year-old man on Thursday night was gunned down in his home in this town.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez by the Nueva Ecija police identified the victim as Juluis Malabrega of Sitio Macanae in Bgy. San Roque.
The victim was about to take his dinner when the suspect barged inside the house and opened fire.
Initial investigation showed the suspect pulled out a pistol and shot the victim repeatedly before fleeing.
Responding lawmen and emergency personnel rushed the victim to San Jose City General Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
Police have yet to establish the motive for the killing and are still working to identify the suspect.
A follow-up investigation is ongoing.
