CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — A high-value target (HVT) was arrested by the police in an anti-illegal drug operation near a school in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Joint operatives from the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of the Police Station 2 and the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit on Monday arrested alias “Pating” in a sting beside Lourdes Northwest Elementary School on Kalayaan Street in Bgy. Lourdes Northwest.
The suspect was tagged as a “street-level individual” and a “high-value individual.”
Seized from alias “Pating” were around 110 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P748,000.
Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Regional Director Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez commended the operating units for the successful operation.
The official reiterated the regional police force’s commitment to intensifying the campaign against illegal drugs and criminality in Central Luzon.
Charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the arrested suspect.
