PORAC, Pampanga – A group altercation on Friday resulted in the death of a 35-year-old man from Angeles City in a shooting incident in Bgy Balubad, this town.
A report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez by the Pampanga police identified the victim as Ruben Losa Jr. of B69 L13 EPZA Pulung, Cacutud, Angeles City.
Losa died from a gunshot wound in the head.
The shooting occurred in Purok 1, Bgy. Balubad, Porac, where a quarrel broke out between the victim’s group and the suspect.
During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly shot the victim before fleeing the scene on a motorcycle with a sidecar locally known as “kulong-kulong.”
Police immediately launched a follow-up investigation and operation, which led to the arrest of the suspect identified as alias “Zap,” a resident of Balubad, Porac.
