116 SUSPECTS, FUGITIVES IN CENTRAL LUZON CAPTURED IN MONTH-LONG CIDG RFU 3 OPERATIONS

A TOTAL of 116 suspects and wanted persons in Central Luzon were captured during the month-long intensified anti-crime operations by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Regional Field Unit 3’s (CIDG RFU3).

According to CIDG-RFU 3 chief Col. Grant Gollod, the 92 operations they launched in May 2026 led to the arrest of 116 suspects and fugitives,  the filing of 35 criminal complaints, the confiscation of nine loose firearms, and the seizure of evidence valued at P40.69 million.

Gollod said that of the 92 operations conducted, Bulacan recorded the highest with 17, followed by Tarlac, 16;, Nueva Ecija and Pampanga, 12 each; Bataan, 10; Olongapo, 8; Angeles, 7; Zambales, 6; and Aurora and RHQ with 2 operations each.

Of the 116 suspects and fugitives arrested, 23 were caught in Bulacan, Tarlac, 22; Nueva Ecija, 19; Pampanga, 12; Bataan, 10; Angeles, 9; Olongapo, 8; Zambales, 6; RHQ, 5; and Aurora, 2.

The CIDG official said the total evidence seized amounted to P40,694,270, with major confiscations recorded under Oplan OLEA (P9,579,850), Oplan MEGASHOPPER (P3,081,910), Oplan LIGAS/LIRA (P252,700), and Oplan Bolilyo/Roulette (P42,620).

Gollod said the 35 criminal complaints filed by the various provincial and city units of the CIDG RFU 3 reflected the successful investigation, case build-up, and prosecution efforts undertaken throughout the month. 

“These accomplishments highlight CIDG RFU 3’s unwavering commitment to crime suppression, law enforcement, and the pursuit of justice in the region,  the CIDG official said.
