A SUPER typhoon with international name “Bavi” is being monitored outside of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
As of 2 a.m. Sunday, July 5, “Bavi” is being tracked outside the PAR.
Packing winds of 205 kms per hour and gustiness of 250 kph, “Bavi” was located at 2,929 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas and is moving west southwestward at 25 kph.
If it enters PAR, it will be named “Inday” and will be the second tropical cyclone this month and ninth this year.
According to Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), “Bavi” may move close to Northern Luzon and tropical cyclone wind signals may be raised in Northern and possibly Central Luzon.
