POLICE on Tuesday arrested two Korean nationals reportedly working as Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) workers following the confiscation of around P1 million worth of ketamine in a buy-bust operation.
According to PDEA arrested were alias “Jung,” 38, and alias “Hyun,” 31.
PDEA said Jung had been in the Philippines for about five months while Hyun had stayed in the country for about a year.
Confiscated were around 200 grams of suspected ketamine with an estimated street value of P1 million, a mobile phone and the marked money used in the sting.
The buy-bust stemmed from informations provided by a confidential informant.
A composite team from the PDEA Region 3 Special Enforcement Team (RSET), PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office, and Mabalacat City Police Station launched the sting.
