ANTI-ILLEGAL drugs operatives arrested a Filipina and a Chinese national in a buy-bust operation that led to the confiscation of at least P87,500 worth of liquid ketamine, marijuana and a gun in Bgy. Margot, Angeles City, Pampanga.
Arrested were alias “El,” a 26-year-old Filipina from San Jose del Monte, Bulacan; and alias “Lee,” 33, a Chinese national tagged as a “high-value individual” and a resident of Pasay City.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez, the buy-bust was conducted by members of the Angeles City Police Drug Enforcement Unit of the Police Station 5 under station commander Maj. Janice V. Angeles, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Seized were 14 cartridges containing suspected liquid ketamine valued at P85,100 and one piece of suspected liquid marijuana worth P2,400, a cal. 9mm pistol identified as PNP property, and four live bullets.
The suspects were charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, as well as Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
