A 51-YEAR-OLD American national was found dead in his hotel room in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Angeles City police acting director Col. Joselito Villarosa Jr. reported to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo that prior to his death, the victim was temporarily staying at a hotel on Narciso St., Bgy. Malabanias, Angeles City.
The foreigner’s Filipina live-in partner told police that upon returning to the hotel room after work, she found the victim lifeless on the bed, prompting her to seek help from the hotel’s front desk, who informed the Angeles City police.
According to the victim’s Pinay partner, the American had been complaining of pain in his chest, arms and legs but kept on refusing to go to the hospital for a medical check-up.
A medicine for gout arthritis was found near the body of the victim.
Authorities said there was no sign of struggle or violence on the victim.
An investigation is ongoing.
