BI ANNOUNCES JOB OPENINGS

THE Bureau of Immigration (BI) has announced job openings as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen border security and improve immigration services.

The initiative aligns with the agency’s “Bagong Immigration” vision, which supports President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s Bagong Pilipinas campaign for a more efficient and modernized government service.

BI Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado emphasized the critical role of hiring competent individuals to meet the Bureau’s evolving demands.

“We are looking for the best and the brightest ndividuals with integrity, commitment, and a strong sense of duty to the nation. Serving in the Bureau of Immigration is more than a career; it is a calling to protect our borders and uphold the law,” he stated.

The Bureau is primarily seeking applicants for the Immigration Officer position.

Immigration Officers are at the frontline of border control, ensuring that all arriving and departing passengers comply with Philippine immigration laws.

Applicants are required to be a graduate of any four-year course and have civil service eligibility.

Aside from Immigration Officers, the BI is also hiring Intelligence Officers, Administrative Aides, and Fingerprint Examiners to support its operations.

Viado encouraged both fresh graduates and experienced professionals to seize this opportunity to serve the country.

“We need individuals who are ready to make a difference. This is a chance to be part of an institution that plays a vital role in national security and public service,” he said.

The Bureau’s recruitment drive is also part of its broader efforts to modernize immigration services through enhanced manpower, digital transformation, and operational efficiency.
